Ahh finally! It is finished I've been working on this for a week or summat now D:
Anyway a gift for my mum because it was her birthday on sunday and even though she does my head in sometimes and makes me hate her she's still my mum and she's still done so much for me. I didn't have it finished for sunday though D: Urm I dunno what else to say just that it's Kigan and yes he's sitting on a flower. You can decide what this symbolises or whatnot.
I suppose a flower is a good example of beauty and life. It's planted then blooms and blossoms in all it's beauty before it withers and dies. But they always come back again. And there may be times when the flower is crushed and picked from it's stem but it will continue to stay beautiful for a short time afterwards. It's such a fragile thing much like life itself and like a flower were all beautiful in our own way. I didn't want to put this in anime for some reason.
Medium| ballpoint pen *not used that in a while*
Inspiration| family and friends
Music| Last Bouquet-Gazette such a pretty song
Oh gods but it is BEAUTIFUL. ;o; *stares with such love* The hair is just amazing, and such pretty, pretty shading - ballpoint pens do NOT do that for me.
Ooo, I love the shading. I often enjoy just plain.....artwork rather than colored. I dunno, I guess I'm weird like that, But this is very pretty, and I like the designs (I think that's the word?) on the right (I think that's the right) side of the paper. I really like this and I'm sure you'll mom will too -nods-

He's not dead, he's gonna live
He's not dead, he's gonna live
I see his eyes rolling back in his head
Wow. I've always been a fan of black-and-white works; this is awesome! I love the wings and the detail in the feathers; that must have taken a long time. I can actually imagine how the feathers lie and overlap; very cool. And for some reason, I really like that design drawn up the right side of the page. While it doesn't accomplish a purpose as an OBJECT, it helps to offset the center of the picture, which is a nice touch. A drawing which is directly centered tends to be a little less interesting for some reason or another. In any case, that design is wonderful; balances the picture nicely. I also like your method of drawing profiles. You still added detail to his lips, even though we can't see as much of them as we would typically. But everything looks lovely; I'm sure your mom will love it!
